IS 260 — Database Theory (5 cr)
This course serves as a foundation for working with all types of databases. It reviews what a database is and moves into the various database models such as hierarchical, network, relational, entity and object oriented. It also covers design concepts, SQL, normalization and database administration. Prerequisite: IS 106. (SFCC)
